"This indicates an increase from last year, when 5,367 IPs were opened or 45% of the total cases," he said. "Some 67.3%, or 6,885 cases, were syndicated crimes. These cases resulted in losses amounting to RM378.3mil and have been categorised into 16 types," he said.
