U Mobile has launched its largest store in Malaysia, a flagship outlet at Level 1 of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. This innovative store incorporates Smart Retail functions, including Digital Price Tags and AI-powered CCTVs. It boasts Malaysia's first immersive dome using VR, AR, and MR for a shared experience. Other highlights include the HoloBox for interactive holographic service, the U Home Zome showcasing a Smart Home concept, and the Lifestyle Zone with VR gaming. U Mobile is celebrating the opening with prizes and promotions worth up to RM800,000.

The opening of the U Mobile Sunway Pyramid flagship store is part of the company’s overall retail expansion plan across Malaysia. The company says it has chosen Sunway Pyramid as the mall attracts many families, a target segment that the company is rapidly growing. The new outlet is also said to utilise Smart Retail functions, such as Digital Price Tags and AI-powered CCTVs with smart security functions.According to U Mobile, its new flagship store features Malaysia’s first immersive dome in a retail store. This dome uses high-quality video, audio systems, virtual reality , augmented reality , and mixed reality to create a shared, immersive experience for visitors to enjoy. Additionally, the U Mobile flagship store at Sunway Pyramid also sports some interesting spots such as the HoloBox, which is said to be a self-contained unit that employs holographic projection technology, giving a twist to the in-store Queue Management System. Customers can interact with the holographic avatar of Stacy Anam, U Mobile’s brand ambassador, for service. The Holobox also serves as a photo booth, which can project AI-generated images of visitors and project them onto the Immersive Dome. Next up, there’s the U Home Zome which showcases a Smart Home Concept and highlights the key benefits of U Mobile’s family-centric plans such asU Business Corner on the other hand showcases the telco’s business solutions that leverage 5G and other technologies. Lastly, the U Mobile Sunway Pyramid flagship store also features the Lifestyle Zone, where visitors of all ages can enjoy VR gaming.To celebrate the opening of its Sunway Pyramid flagship store, U Mobile is offering prizes and promotions worth up to RM800,000, between thePrizes to be given out include 5G smartphones, Sunway Resort staycations, and hoodies from an exclusive collaboration between U Mobile and Pestle and Mortar Clothing.
