PETALING JAYA: MCA Beliawanis has lodged several police reports nationwide calling for an investigation against the Employees Provident Fund over the controversial sale and repurchase of Malaysia Airports Berhad shares.

"Ultimately, this had affected the returns on the savings of its members. If the transaction involves any improper conduct or power abuse, a thorough investigation should be conducted to determine whether stock market regulations were violated. She said it should also be investigated if EPF's decisions were made based on professional judgment or if someone had manipulated it for personal gain.

In Parliament on Thursday , he had even called for an independent probe into this investment decision.
