On one end, his sudden reappearance after months spent in hiding has split both the general public and several lawmakers. Meanwhile, singing in interviews and his viral chase with NBI agents in the Senate building have made dela Rosa perfect meme material.
“Senate Run” is a web-based video game made by Jopel, who currently works at a software development company. Similar to the no-internet Google Chrome dinosaur game, the goal is simple: dodge wet floor signs, incoming NBI agents, and go as far as you can. When caught, the game shows Sen Bato on his knees as an NBI agent hands him an ICC warrant of arrest.
National Bureau of Investigation Director Melvin Matibag has appealed to Senator Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa to just “surrender” and face the arrest warrant issued against him. In a press conference on Friday , Matibag said the bureau already has a dedicated team actively locating Dela Rosa following the order of the Department of Justice on Thursday to enforce the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against dela Rosa in connection with his supposed involvement in the bloody war on drugs of the Duterte administration.
