LONDON, April 15 (Reuters) - Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said he was hugely grateful to his players for the boost they had given the club after a gritty 1-0 aggregate win over Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday earned them a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall has appointed Car Medic Sdn Bhd via an open tender process and has been offering the service in public housing schemes since February this year.
Mayor Datuk Seri Fadlun Mak Ujud said Car Medic's scope of service includes towing and hauling abandoned vehicles in public areas, preparing logistics and storage facilities and scrapping vehicles sustainably.'A cash incentive of between RM100 and RM2,000, depending on the condition and type of vehicles, will be given to those who take part in this voluntary programme,' he said during a press conference at PPR Pantai Ria on Thursday .
He added that DBKL targets to scrap some 1,200 old or abandoned vehicles at public housing schemes through the programme this year. Also present were the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department , Hannah Yeoh, Lembah Pantai MP Datuk Fahmi Fadzil and Wangsa Maju MP Zahir Hassan. They presented a certificate issued by Car Medic and a cash reward to a PPR Pantai Ria resident who has scrapped her car via the programme.
