PETALING JAYA: Police investigations into the Bloomberg report concerning alleged share ownership by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki must focus on the allegations itself and not their publication, says Nurul Izzah Anwar.

Most countries, including the US and Japan, do not recognise Taiwan as an independent state, but Washington is opposed to any attempt to take the self-governed island by force and is committed to supplying it with weapons. High-level interactions between the Hong Kong government and the Japanese consulate in the city have also reportedly come to a standstill in light of the diplomatic rift.Sapporo, a city of 2 million people in northern Japan’s Hokkaido prefecture, is a popular winter holiday destination and hosts a world-famous annual snow festival in February.
