Rocketfuel Entertainment unveils a special EP featuring seven Hari Raya songs across various genres, aiming to create a unique festive musical experience for Ramadan and Syawal.
Rocketfuel Entertainment , a renowned entertainment label, has launched an impressive initiative this Ramadan and Syawal season, presenting seven Hari Raya songs that encompass a variety of genres and emotions. Interestingly, all of these works are compiled in a special EP, creating a unique Raya 'universe' under the label's own banner.
Under the theme 'Bila Bersama, Lagi Jadi' (When Together, It's More), one of the main highlights is the group ALPHA with their song 'Rindu Raya' (Longing for Raya) which highlights the theme of missing family and hometown. Furthermore, singer Wani Kayrie also enlivens the atmosphere with the song 'Kampung Kita' (Our Village), an upbeat piece that is a continuation of her previous viral song, 'Cak Cak Cekuk'. “I like Raya songs that are fun and make people want to dance. ‘Kampung Kita’ has that vibe, but at the same time, it has a sweet story about feelings of longing,” said Wani. For M-Pop fans, the collaboration between Hael Husaini and ALPHA through the song 'Raya Macam Raya' (Raya Like Raya) is sure to grab attention with its fresh upbeat rhythm. Hael also presents a solo single titled 'Lagu Raya Untukmu' (Raya Song For You) as a token of appreciation for his fans. Also enlivening this collection is the pairing of Sharul Kamal and Mierul Aiman through the song 'Duit Raya' (Raya Money) which carries a casual message about the meaning of sincerity in celebrating Aidilfitri. However, for those who want to delve into feelings of sadness, the melancholic ballad sung by Dayang Nurfaizah titled 'Senyum Gugur Di Hujung Doa' (A Smile Falls at the End of Prayer), written by Hael Husaini and Iqie Hugh, will certainly touch emotions. “I sing this song with a sincere heart for those who miss their loved ones who have passed away. May it bring peace to the soul,” explained Dayang. Completing the Raya 'universe' is singer Nadeera who is betting on the song 'Restu Raya' (Raya Blessing) which emphasizes the value of togetherness regardless of age.
