PARIS, May 31 (Reuters) - Matteo Berrettini said he finally feels like he can compete at a high level again after beating Francisco Comesana at the French Open to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam for just the second time since 2022.

- Myanmar Military True News Information Team via AP YANGON: Myanmar has reorganised the National Security Bureau , appointing the President as its Chairman, according to a notification published in the Myanmar Gazette. The NSB was reconstituted under Order No. issued by the Office of the President on April 21, 2026. The newly formed bureau comprises 13 members, including the Chairman.
Under the new structure, the President serves as Chairman, while Vice President assumes the role of Vice Chairman and the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services serves as Vice Chairman . The Chief of Military Security Affairs has been designated as Secretary.
Other members include the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services and Union Ministers from the President’s Office, the ministries responsible for Transport and Digital Development and Communications, Defence, Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Finance and Revenue, Border Affairs, and Immigration and Population. It was chaired by the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, with the Union Minister for Home Affairs serving as Secretary and the Chief of Military Security Affairs as Joint Secretary. The remaining members were Union ministers.
According to the notification, the NSB was established to strengthen the implementation of national security affairs in accordance with the 2008 Constitution. The bureau's responsibilities include coordinating national security matters while supporting the state's three main national objectives: preventing the disintegration of the Union, preserving national solidarity, and safeguarding sovereignty. To facilitate the bureau's day-to-day operations, an office group comprising representatives from participating Union ministries will be formed.

Fire at Penang's Odeon Building Claims Life of Myanmar NationalA Myanmar national died in a fire that destroyed about 70 percent of the two-storey entertainment centre units in the Odeon Building on Jalan Penang, George Town.
