PKM Lipis Traces Parents of Abandoned Baby

The Lipis Social Welfare Department (PKM) is searching for the biological parents or guardians of a four-month-old baby boy who was handed over to an acquaintance on November 12, 2025, in Klang, Selangor. The baby was given to the acquaintance by a woman believed to be known to the mother for temporary care, but she has not returned for the child. The department is seeking public assistance to locate the parents.

LIPIS: Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarakat daerah ini sedang mengesan ibu bapa kandung dan waris seorang bayi lelaki berusia empat bulan 27 hari yang diserahkan kepada seorang kenalan pada 12 November 2025 di Andalas, Klang, Selangor tanpa sebarang dokumen penjagaan.

Pegawai Kebajikan Masyarakat Lipis, Hizani Ibrahim berkata, bayi tersebut diserahkan oleh seorang wanita yang dipercayai kenalan kepada ibu kandungnya atas alasan tertentu bagi penjagaan sementara. “Namun, selepas penyerahan itu, wanita itu tidak lagi tampil untuk mengambil semula bayi tersebut dan segala usaha menghubunginya gagal. “Bayi itu kemudiannya dirujuk kepada PKM Daerah Lipis bagi tindakan lanjut dan kini berada di bawah seliaan jabatan,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini. Hizani berkata, permohonan pengecualian di bawah Seksyen 15 Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001 sudah diluluskan bagi tujuan siaran media ini, untuk membantu mengesan ibu bapa kandung atau waris kanak-kanak berkenaan.
