Datuk Mohd. Yusoff Mamat mendalilkan bahawa kes bunuh di Kelantan melonjak lebih 100% untuk tempoh empat bulan pertama tahun ini. Beliau memberitahu bahawa kesnya melibatkan dadah atau tidak dan ini menyebabkan sesuatu yang sukar dijangka ataupun dijaga pihak berkuasa.
Selepas dikerusi Perhimpunan Bulanan Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Kelantan , Ahli Lembaga Polis Negeri Kelantan , Datuk Mohd. Yusoff Mamat mendalilkan bahawa kes bunuh di negeri Kelantan melonjak lebih 100% untuk tempoh empat bulan pertama tahun ini berbanding tempoh sama tahun lalu.
Mamat menambah bahawa sebanyak lima kes jenayah bunuh direkodkan samaada melibatkan dadah atau tidak dan ini menyebabkan sesuatu yang sukar dijangka ataupun dijaga pihak berkuasa. Mamat memberitahu bahawa kebanyakan kes berlaku secara tiba-tiba susulan pergaduhan dan tindakan di luar kawalan, menyebabkan perginya nyawa. Beliau seterusnya berkata bahawa polis berjaya menyelesaikan beberapa kes penting dengan segera termasuk kes melibatkan seorang pelajar baru-baru ini
