DJ Baguette turns artisanal bakeries into pop-up discos throughout France.
IPOH: A 63-year-old man has been arrested by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry for attempting to misappropriate diesel at a store in the Kampung Acheh Industrial Area in Manjung .
Perak director Datuk Kamalludin Ismail said the individual was arrested while trying to transfer diesel from a lorry into an intermediate bulk container at the premises during a joint Ops Tiris 4.0 and Ops Jeriji on Thursday at about 10.30am.
"The diesel is believed to have been purchased using a fleet card at RM2 per litre and collected at the centre to be sold at RM3 per litre. "The individual failed to show any permit from the Supply Controller for matters related to controlled goods," he said in a statement on Thursday. "Investigation found that the premises was turned into an illegal diesel collection and storage centre.
"About 4,000 litres of diesel, containers and an electric pump have been seized from the premises, with a total seizure of about RM80,275," he added.
