Malaysia Introduces Online Civil Marriage Registration for Non-Muslim Couples

The National Registration Department (JPN) has launched an online application system for non-Muslim couples in Malaysia to register their civil marriages, making the process more accessible for those aged 21 and above who are Malaysian citizens and meet eligibility criteria.

The National Registration Department has announced a simpler way for non-Muslim couples to register their civil marriage in Malaysia , with applications now available online.

JPN Selangor confirmed that online civil marriage applications are now open to individuals aged 21 and above.

To be eligible, both the applicant and their partner must meet specific criteria, including holding Malaysian citizenship.
