PORT DICKSON : Four youths were each fined RM900 after they pleaded guilty to a charge of violating the movement control order (MCO).
Magistrate Siti Huzaifah Abdul Talib ordered Muhamad Rafizul Helmi Muhamad Raus, 20, Syareedza Saifulnizam, Aiman Khuzairie Nordin, both 19, and Luqman Haqem Nor Hisham, 18, to serve seven days in jail if they were unable to pay the fine.
They settled the fine.Another 17-year-old was released on a RM500 bail and asked to re-appear before the Magistrate’s Court on June 16 for sentencing pending a report from the Welfare Department.The five were arrested by a police patrol team for loitering in the Bandar Springhill residential area at about 1.40am on April 30.
