y enabled by 5G connectivity. In line with Yes’ mission to enable 5G connectivity for all Malaysians, the experience store aims to demonstrate the future of 5G connectivity in changing the way we live, work and play in an increasingly interconnected, multi-device environment.
Yes claims that the new experience store will allow Malaysians to experience first-hand the ultra-fast connectivity of Yes 5G which includes reduced latency, swift response times and reliable coverage. More than just a place to purchase Yes 5G postpaid plans and products, there is also Malaysia’s first 5G-enabled cafe and restaurant for customers to dine and experience 5G connectivity with friends and family.
Besides that, the Yes Experience Store also offers customers a hands-on experience with 5G technology. These include the latest 5G devices and 5G-powered robots to VR experiences with the HTC Viveflow VR Glasses. During the launch today, Yes also announced a refresh to the Yes’ exclusive Yes 5G Databack programme with Shopee, which is now rewarding both Yes 5G and 4G Prepaid and Postpaid users with free 5GB data for every RM50 spent on the platform. Yes also announced that to date, over 13.
With the opening of the experience store, various exciting promotional activities will take place during the launch weekend in which the public can participate, from the 14th to the 16th of October. Customers will be able to experience the store’s various attractions and 5G technologies for the first time, all while enjoying free refreshments and taking home exciting goodies, including free 5G SIM Shopee vouchers.
