A woman died after she was fatally cut by an “edged weapon” Sunday evening, Fort Worth police said.
Officers responded to a cutting call just before 7 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Henderson, south of downtown Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar personnel also responded, police said. Officers found a woman who had severe injuries. She was taken to a hospital and later died. Police did not release her identity.
Police did not specify what the “edged weapon” was. The department’s homicide unit was requested to investigate, police said.. Nataly is the lead writer on Curious Texas and a breaking news reporter.
