Deschon Winston, Mac Tallo and import Tom Vonadovich formed a deadly triumvirate as Converge outgunned Rain or Shine, 120-111, in their tuneup game in the Converge preseason pocket tournament on Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Gatorade Hoops Center.
Vonadovich led the assault for the FiberXers with 27 points and 13 rebounds while Tallo made a case for a PBA comeback after dropping 24 points built on five triples.
He was also at the forefront of a huge third quarter flurry, dropping 14 of his team's 39 points that allowed them take control of the contest 92-75 heading into the final frame. The FiberXers are now unbeaten through two games in the pocket tournament after also dominating the Blackwater Bossing in their first game.
