For more than a decade, Peter has spent his days getting strangers to dance and sing on their way to work.

A video of his dance party, where strangers were moved off their seats to join Peter and shake their hips together, went viral, amassing more than two million views on YouTube.

He leads spontaneous train choirs around the world, eye contact sit-ins in the CBD and mobile DJ sets that move through the streets, collecting punters who join the walking dance floor along the way."I see people's eyes and their smiles light up when they feel they can come into this, come into an environment and be able to play," Peter said. The charm of strangers singing together has meant Peter's events have skirted around authority on more than one occasion.

"I was afraid of becoming a dancer. I was afraid of embracing that idea, especially as a man growing up and wanting to belong and be accepted as well.”When his mother found a men's dance group outside of school for him to join, he discovered there was an advantage in questioning the mainstream.

Jacinta Price declines opportunity to back Peter Dutton’s second referendumJacinta Price declines opportunity to back Peter Dutton’s second referendumThere was a devastating Newspoll out on Monday which showed that the Voice appears all but dead with just 38 per cent in support of the referendum. Last week on Sunday Agenda Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said that if elected he would hold a second referendum on constitutional recognition for Aboriginal people alone without the Voice. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese slammed Mr Dutton’s second referendum pitch during Question Time in parliament on Tuesday saying the Opposition Leader “wants to see Indigenous people, he just doesn’t want them to be heard”. His spokeswoman Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians Jacinta Nampijinpa Price did not seem as enthusiastic when asked about the second referendum later in the week. Ms Price said there would need to be “further discussion” before she would back Mr Dutton’s referendum plan.
