PETALING JAYA: Some roads in Johor are now inaccessible due to floods, and the number of victims has risen, says Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
“I’ve been receiving the latest updates from local leaders from various places in Johor, including Yong Peng state assemblyman YB Ling Tian Soon, Bekok state assemblyman YB Tan Chong and CRSM leaders, and coordinating the relief efforts with them to help the victims,” he said in a Facebook post last night.
“Many roads are now inaccessible and this has made the relief efforts of sending food items and aids to the victims much more difficult. Dr Wee, who was in Dewan Rakyat earlier in the day, said continuous rain is expected to last until this weekend.
