The indictment included three charges against Hunter Biden related to gun possession.Bidenomics, the president's economic platform, has been a focal point of Biden's reelection campaign.
His speech comes two days after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced the House would be moving forward with an impeachment inquiry following months of investigations from House GOP leaders into the Biden administration and alleged influence peddling by the Biden family.The White House has condemned the inquiry, urging a more aggressive pushback to the GOP and dismissing the effort as “extreme politics at its worst.
Biden will begin his remarks at 2:45 p.m. EDT at Prince George's Community College in Largo, Maryland.
