Vice President Sara Duterte will be in Brunei Darussalam until June 13 to fulfill her role as president of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Council. | ManilaBulletin
Duterte, who is also the Secretary of the Department of Education , met Brunei Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah to discuss affairs of mutual concern for the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam.
According to the Office of the Vice President, she will also visit Sekolah Rendah Pusar Ulak, a public school, to observe best practices in Brunei in basic education. The Vice President is accompanied by Naomi, a high school student from Bacolod, as part of the You Can Be VP program of the OVP, during her trip.
To conclude the visit, Duterte will meet the Filipino community in the Sultanate during the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence.
