Kota Kinabalu: The upgrading works at Likas Stadium which began in May this year is set to be completed in early September.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ellron Angin, who paid a visit to the site on Friday, was happy with the progress and confirmed the job will be done on schedule.According to him, the works are almost 90 per cent complete and are expected to be fully functional before September 15 this year. Among the facilities that will make Likas Stadium comparable to other stadiums in Malaysia is the use of the VAR system, which is essential for football matches.
