Valley Torah – the 16-seed – has made a Cinderella run in the SoCal Regional playoffs and will play for a berth to the CIF State title Tuesday night in San Diego.

The program won a CIF-SS Division 6AA title in 2011 and has just one regional playoff victory in its history. No player on the Valley Torah roster is taller than 6-foot-5 and the team wears Yarmulkes during the game. They’re underestimated every game. But it’s nothing new to junior guard Johny Dan.
