Sydney commuters are being warned to expect widespread delays this weekend as urgent repairs are carried out across the rail network with the shutdown to affect services on the T1, T2., T3, T5, T7 and T8 lines. Stations along the City Circle will be out of action as 800 staff are working to fix more than 100 high-priority defects. Buses have been brought in to supplement the City Circle services as commuters are also being encouraged to use to light rail network.
