The University of Malaya (UM) confirmed receiving a report accusing an academic of sharing explicit images with a student and engaging in sexual harassment. The report was initially filed by the UM Feminist Club (UMFC) and subsequently picked up by several media outlets. UM stated that they could not comment further as the matter is under investigation by the authorities. UMFC expressed disappointment with UM's handling of the situation, alleging a lack of transparency and a reluctance to hold the professor accountable.
