Majlis Kerja Tertinggi (MKT) UMNO diketuai Timbalan Presiden, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan akan berkunjung ke Johor pada 18 dan 19 Ogos ini.

JOHOR BAHRU: UMNO Johor sudah berada dalam mood standby sebagai persediaan menghadapi Pilihan Raya Umum Ke-15 yang dijangka diadakan tidak lama lagi.

Setiausaha Kerja UMNO Johor, Pandak Ahmad berkata, pihaknya juga telah menerima arahan daripada kepemimpinan tertinggi Pusat untuk melakukan persiapan yang perlu.“Lawatan dua hari itu adalah untuk memperkukuh kesiapsiagaan parti dalam menghadapi PRU akan datang. Bagi Johor, kita baru sahaja mengadakan Pilihan Raya Negeri pada Mac lalu. Jadi, memang masih bersedia.

“Apa yang perlu kita buat adalah mengemas kini dan tambah baik gerak kerja di peringkat akar umbi dalam usaha untuk memenangkan Barisan Nasional di kesemua 26 kerusi Parlimen di Johor,” katanya selepas melancarkan Buku Rempit: Barah Dalam Masyarakat Salah Siapa? hasil tulisan Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Seri Alam, Deputi Suprintenden Mohd. Roslan Mohd. Tahir di pusat beli-belah Plaza Pelangi, di sini hari ini.

Pandak yang juga Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Kota Iskandar memberitahu, jentera UMNO Johor juga telah bersedia bersandarkan pengalaman sedia ada. – UTUSAN
