KUALA LUMPUR : Police arrested two local men suspected of being involved in a robbery of a Russian tourist on Jalan Sejahtera here on 12 December. The two suspects, aged 29 and 30, were arrested by a team of officers from the Serious Crime Division (D9) of the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters (IPD) IPD) at a motorcycle parking lot in the People's Housing Project (PPR) Pekan Kepong in Jalan Silang here.

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail said, the arrest was made following an incident involving a woman in her 50s, a Russian national, who was on her way to the Ampang Park Mass Transit (MRT) to KL International Airport on 12 December. “During the incident, the victim's bag was snatched by two suspects on a motorcycle.
