Mr Crackles was a cult destination on Oxford Street for a late-night pork roll or cup of pork crackling.
But co-owner Sam Horowitz told 9news.com.au the venue has been forced to close as a result of the maths no longer adding up."We needed to be busier than pre-COVID to pay back debts incurred during lockdown," he said."We don't see things recovering in the next year so we took the opportunity to get out now.The beloved venue opened in 2013 but, like many retail and hospitality joints, couldn't recoup costs and profits after forced closures during COVID-19 lockdowns.
