Police in Malaysia have arrested two individuals, including a woman with 22 prior criminal records, in connection with a jewelry scam that went viral on social media. The suspects allegedly deceived victims by promising to exchange their jewelry for new pieces but never returned the original items. Authorities recovered several pieces of jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, rings, and watches, as well as purchase receipts for gold, from the suspects' rented house. The woman suspect is currently remanded, while her male accomplice is being held until tomorrow to assist in the investigation under sections 420 and 411 of the Penal Code.

Wan Mohd Zahari berkata polis turut merampas tiga rantai leher bersama loket pelbagai bentuk, empat rantai tangan, tiga cincin selain lima jam tangan dan resit pembelian emas di sebuah rumah sewa kedua-dua suspek di Bukit Tinggi, Bentong.
