KULAI: A man was killed after his car plunged into a three-metre-deep ravine on Friday (June 7) at Jalan Jumbo near the Le Grandeur Hotel here.

TVB actress Samantha Ko made headlines in March when she joined fellow Hong Kong stars Charlene Choi, Gillian Chung and Joey Yung to film the second season ofWhile the travel reality show allowed Ko to experience the beauty of Penang, it also gave her the opportunity to fulfill one of her wishes. "I've always wanted to help my parents retake their wedding photos. This little wish has finally come true., giving me the opportunity to make this beautiful thing happen," the 37-year-old said in an Instagram post on June 5.Her mum wore a white gown with a matching veil, while her dad donned a white tee, black blazer and slacks.In her post, Ko thanked Choi, Chung and Yung for not only helping her mum with the makeup but also teaching her parents how to pose.
"The most heartwarming love is just like this. Staying together through thick and thin, holding on to each other, step by step, hand in hand, until a lifetime has passed without noticing.Ko visited Penang for the first time in December 2022 while shooting the Hong Kong filmat the time that she was interested in buying a property there as the state gave her"many good memories".
