KULAI: An accident involving a trailer at KM49.8 of the North-South Expressway has caused a 16km standstill between Sedenak and Kulai here.“The accident had occurred at KM49.8 of the expressway heading North from Sedenak to Kulai .
"All lanes were blocked, causing a traffic standstill. Road users are advised to take the Kulai exit," it said on its official Facebook page.“Traffic was stalled for 16km. Please take the Sedenak or Kulai exit to avoid the congestion," it said. When contacted, a police official said that vehicles were being diverted to the Kulai exit and some to the Sedenak exit."No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved. The trailer was believed to have skidded on its own,” said the official.
