Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Minister for Women, Family, and Community Development, urges the routing of flood relief goods through Nadma to prevent duplicate aid and ensure fair distribution among victims.
Tumpat flood relief goods should be routed through the National Disaster Management Agency ( Nadma ) to ensure efficient and fair distribution, said Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, the Women, Family, and Community Development Minister. She expressed concerns over overlapping aid where some flood victims received duplicate donations while others were overlooked.
Nancy emphasized the need for coordination through Nadma to prevent unfair distribution and highlighted that additional essential supplies have been stocked in preparation for the next wave of floods, expected to be more intense. The Malaysian Meteorological Department has forecast a monsoon surge from Dec 8 to 14, bringing continuous rain to the eastern regions of Peninsular Malaysia
