Treasurer Jim Chalmers will be in Washington, DC today for high-level talks with G20 counterparts as he plans to fend off a recession and navigate global economic uncertainty.
The International Monetary Fund is warning Australian home loans are at the second highest default risk in the developed world.
The Treasurer will meet his foreign counterparts to assess the instability of global economic factors and how they will affect next month’s budget.
