In light of increased global uncertainty due to factors such as the war in Ukraine and recent market fluctuations, Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers has announced that the upcoming federal budget will focus on providing cost of living relief.
He added, “We are confident about the prospects for the Australian economy, but we are not complacent.”
“We are optimistic about the future of our economy and our country, but we are realistic about the impact of this global volatility and global uncertainty on our own economy.”
