Trans-Sabah gas pipeline cancellation ‘denial of rights’

THE cancellation of the RM4.04 billion trans-Sabah Gas Pipeline means that Sabahans will continue to be deprived of their rights to use and benefit from their own natural resources, said former Sabah chief minister Yong Teck Lee. The billion-ringgit pipeline was meant to address and deal with the electricity shortage in Sabah’s east coast districts.
