KOTA KINABALU: Sabah police are investigating allegations of illegal immigrants being given Malaysian citizenship registration forms.
"A probe is underway," state police commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah said at a press conference here Monday , adding that they had received 12 reports on the matter.
Also circulating are photos of the forms with the Warisan logo on them and old versions of the National Registration Department forms as well as pictures of the alleged applicants. He said it was not possible for Warisan to have been involved as it was not the party's duty to process any NRD-related matters.
