Traders who increase price of face masks will be dealt with, says ministry

STERN action will be taken by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry against traders taking advantage of the current coronavirus outbreak by indiscriminately increasing the price of face masks. Ministry secretary-general Muez Abd Aziz said in a statement today that face masks are items under price control, where the maximum ceiling price has been fixed on five types of face masks under the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011.
