PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has detected three new Covid-19 clusters in Pahang, involving 15 foreign workers.

said that seven cases were detected at a plantation in Bera.

In a press conference on Sunday , he said another six cases were detected at a sawmill and two cases at a construction company in Maran. Dr Noor Hisham said the cases were detected after the Pahang Health Department carried out surveillance and active case detection in the state.Another 24 cases were detected at the Sepang immigration detention centre, making it a total of 60 cases there or 4.1% of all the samples taken.

There were 283 cases detected at the Bukit Jalil detention centre and 66 cases at the Semenyih detention centre. Only two positive cases have been detected at the temporary immigration centre in Putrajaya of the 101 samples taken.
