Ocean's Eleven star George Clooney reveals that stars like Mark Wahlberg and Johnny Depp rejected the opportunity to be in the 2001 heist movie and that they probably regret it now. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Ocean's Eleven stars Clooney as Danny Ocean, a charismatic thief who puts an intricate plan into motion to rob three Las Vegas casinos at the same time.
Clooney: “Steven had just done Erin Brockovich and Traffic, and he was nominated for directing both films. So, people really wanted to work with Steven.”Clooney: “They did. Some very famous people told us to f--- right off. Mark Wahlberg, Johnny Depp. There were others. They regret it now. I regret doing f---ing Batman."
