Exclusive: Screen Rant presents a new teaser for Christmas horror comedy There's Something In The Barn, starring Martin Starr and some angry elves.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT There’s Something in the Barn, which offers giggles and gasps for the Holiday season, arrives in select theaters and on digital platforms this holiday season. Directed by Magnus Martens from a screenplay by Aleksander Kirkwood Brown, the movie follows a man named Bill after he inherits a relative's home in Norway and discovers an unexpected guest already living there.

Alongside Martin Starr, There’s Something in the Barn features the talented Amrita Acharia as Bill's wife Carol, Zoe Winther-Hansen and Townes Bunner as their kids Nora and Lucas respectively, Jeppe Beck Laursen as Raymond, and Henriette Seenstrup as the town's police chief. The guest that they're up against is known as a “nisse,” referring to a Nordic barn elf with a very specific set of rules to keep it from going berserk on the family.

The movie is being distributed by Vertigo Releasing, and if the director and lead actor weren't enough of a hint of the tone in question, the logline referring to it as a cross between Gremlins and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation certainly is. There may be blood and gore, but there will be more laughs than anything else. There’s Something in the Barn is coming to US theaters on November 10, and will be available in UK theaters and on digital download on December 1.
