Sony Pictures has dropped a brand new The Equalizer 3 video, teasing the final installment to Denzel Washington's action thriller franchise,
video for the upcoming final installment to Denzel Washington’s action thriller franchise, which will bring Robert McCall’s story to a close in Italy. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 1.
The featurette gives the audience a recap of McCall’s violent journey for justice. Director Antoine Fuqua and Washington recall the character’s revenge arcs during the first two installments. The long-time collaborators also teased a much more brutal Robert McCall in The Equalizer 3, as he takes on the Italian mafia.
The Equalizer 3 is once again being directed by Antoine Fuqua from a screenplay written by Richard Wenk. The film also stars Dakota Fanning, David Denman, and Gaia Scodellaro. This marks Fanning’s second collaboration with Washington after working together in the Man on Fire movie two decades ago.Producers are Fuqua, Washington, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Clayton Townsend, Alex Siskin, Tony Eldrige, and Michael Sloan.
The Equalizer films were based on the classic CBS series, which ran on air for four seasons from 1985-1989 on the CBS network. Joining Denzel in the first two films were Bill Pullman, Melissa Leo, David Harbour, Pedro Pascal, and more.
