After first playing the retired CIA assassin in Antoine Fuqua's 2014 movie, Washington would re-team with the director for a sequel in 2018.
Washington says in the video that the upcoming sequel will feature some departures from the previous two, with Fuqua even teasing that McCall may have gone "too far" this time protecting the people he cares about.
