Tabung Haji (TH) Managing Director Syed Hamadah Syed Othman advises Malaysian pilgrims with Furada or Mujamalah Visas to use licensed Pilgrimage Operators (PJH) for their services. He emphasizes the importance of using authorized PJH companies due to their strong financial standing, expertise, and experience in ensuring pilgrim welfare. TH continuously monitors these operators to prevent fraud and provide the best services for pilgrims. Syed Hamadah also highlights Saudi Arabia's initiatives to enhance hajj procedures and security measures during the peak hajj period. He further stresses the importance of only utilizing licensed hajj packages and warns against fraudulent offers outside the national hajj quota.
Malaysian pilgrims who obtain a Furada Visa or Mujamalah Visa are advised to use the services of Pilgrimage Operators licensed by Tabung Haji .
He said these companies had strong financial standing, expertise, and sufficient experience to ensure the welfare of pilgrims. Syed Hamadah explained that the issuance of Furada and Mujamalah Visas for specific groups was the exclusive right of the Saudi Arabian government and fell outside the official national hajj quota.
According to him, Saudi Arabia will also implement stricter security measures during the peak hajj period with a more efficient verification system to check every pilgrim entering the Masyair area.Meanwhile, he said TH fully supported the Royal Malaysia Police advisory for the public to be cautious of hajj fraud syndicates and not to be easily deceived by offers of visas and hajj packages outside the national hajj quota.
