Tengku Zafrul sangkal usaha dapatkan semula dana 1MDB tak telus
ISKANDAR PUTERI: Bekas Menteri Kewangan, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz menyangkal dakwaan kerajaan tidak telus dalam usaha mendapatkan semula dana 1Malaysia Development Bhd. , termasuk daripada Bank Pelaburan Global, Goldman Sachs yang merupakan penasihat kewangan syarikat kontroversi tersebut.
“Saya tidak faham apa yang dikatakan dengan tidak transparent . Ini kerana semuanya berkaitan 1MDB ada dijawab di Parlimen. Tengku Zafrul ditemui selepas mengadakan lawatan ke GKN Engine Systems Component Repair Sdn. Bhd., di Iskandar Puteri, di sini hari ini. Dalam pada itu, bekas Menteri Kewangan II, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani dilaporkan menuduh Goldman Sachs mengambil kesempatan daripada rundingan lemah oleh kerajaan bekas Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin untuk menangguhkan pembayaran sejumlah besar yang masih terhutang kepada Putrajaya di bawah perjanjian penyelesaian yang dimeterai lebih daripada dua tahun lalu.
