PASIR GUDANG: The International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) will conduct a continuous engagement with the industries to ensure that their investments are protected from any impact of climate change.
Its minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said that the government had been closely monitoring the flood situations in the state and will find ways to mitigate the risk on a short- and long-term basis.
"However, during this period, we will be conducting an ongoing engagement with the industry players, as we cannot take things for granted. He said this when met by reporters after the officiating ceremony of the Industry Excellence Award 2024 at The Oasis, Johor Port, here, on Monday .
