A teenager was gunned down on the Lower East Side early Sunday, marking the second time in as many weekends that someone was shot in the bustling Manhattan neighborhood.
The 18-year-old man was shot in the neck in front of a deli on the corner of Rivington Street and Pitt Street at around 12:50 a.m., police said. The teen was brought to New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
