Tangkak and Malacca record highest API numbers

A further 25 stations, mainly in Sarawak and southern Peninsula, record unhealthy API readings.

Tangkak in Johor with an API reading of 254 and Bandaraya Melaka with 222 API have the worst air quality as of noon today.

An API of 0-50 represents good air quality, 51-100 is moderate, 101-200 is unhealthy, 201-300 is very unhealthy, while 300 and above is hazardous.
