Malaysians advised to refrain from outdoor activities when API exceeds 100

THE Health Ministry has advised that all outdoor sports activities and gatherings be postponed if the air pollutant index exceeds 100 as recommended in the National Haze Action Plan 2019. Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement today said this is to avoid the risk of falling sick.
