petalingjaya Seramai 13 wanita warga asing yang bekerja sebagai pelayan pelanggan di sebuah premis hiburan di Taman Sains Selangor, Petaling Jaya ditahan dalam Ops Noda, malam tadi.
Serbuan 12.10 tengah malam itu dilakukan Bahagian Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah dan Bahagian Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya.
Ketua Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya Asisten Komisioner Mohd Zani Che Din berkata, serbuan turut memeriksa 81 pengunjung premis berkenaan.“13 pelayan pelanggan warga Filipina, India, Thailand dan Myanmar berusia 20 hingga 40 tahun ditahan atas pelbagai kesalahan imigresen,” katanya. Mohd Zani berkata, siasatan mendapati premis berkenaan melakukan aktiviti hiburan tanpa lesen yang sah dan didapati melakukan kesalahan menggaji pekerja warga asing.“Semua tangkapan dibawa ke Balai Polis Damansara, Balai Polis Seapark dan Balai Polis Kelana Jaya,” katanya.
Katanya, kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 55B Akta Imigresen 1959/63, Peraturan 39 Peraturan-Peraturan Imigresen 1963.
