Law enforcement authorities rescued suspected victims of human trafficking, including foreigners, following a raid at a compound in Las Piñas City, Bam Alegre reported on Unang Balita on Tuesday.
Armed with a search warrant, operatives from the National Capital Region Police Office and Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group raided a building within the compound early Tuesday morning.Found inside the building were several foreign nationals who seem to be staying at the facilities.Among the foreigners were Malaysians, Singaporeans, Vietnamese and Chinese nationals, Sabino said.
