A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a fatal stabbing in Brooklyn late last month.
Cops cuffed Deshawn James of East New York nearly a month after the killing, which took place at around 3:45 a.m. on Dec. 26 in East New York.
Early that fateful day, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress near the corner of Rockaway Avenue and Livonia Avenue. Upon arrival, cops discovered 54-year-old James Ballard unconscious and unresponsive with stab wounds to the neck and back. The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
